One Knoxville SC signs Kingsford Adjei

One Knoxville SC has completed the signing of winger Kingsford Adjei, pending league and federation approval.

The 24-year-old joins One Knoxville SC after spending last season with South Georgia Tormenta FC in the USL League One. He started in 26 matches and contributed to 6 goals throughout his campaign there.

The Ghanaian attacker developed through the Right to Dream program before signing with Dayton University. His college career deserved an MLS Draft Pick, which he earned in 2022 when he was drafted by New York City.

The pacey attacker reunites with Mark McKeever after he played a part in the 2021 USL League Two National Championship team, Des Moines Menace. McKeever said, “Kingsford brings a lot of the athleticism and creativity that we lacked at times last season.” McKeever continued to say “Kingsford is one I want to be around every day, his character is infectious in a positive way and his desire to train at the highest level is going to be integral for us in 2024.”
