One Knoxville SC is thrilled to report the signing of Jimmie Villalobos.
The former Chattanooga Red Wolves star makes the short trip up 75 North to Knoxville ahead of the 2023 campaign.
Villalobos played in 32 games during the 2022 USL League One season. He was a key contributor for the Red Wolves as they made a run to the League One national final.
The 27 year old winger said, “the vision that One Knox has for this upcoming season has made me want to come to this beautiful city. I am excited to meet the fans and have seen how much support they bring to the team which creates an amazing playing atmosphere. I am looking forward to experiencing it!”
Coach McKeever is a big fan of Jimmie Villalobos and is excited to work with him in this upcoming season. “Jimmie was one of my favorite players to watch last season in League One. He does not mind doing the dirty work off the ball for the team and when he is on the ball, he has an amazing talent to simplify the game and bring others into the play. I am really excited to see Jimmie continue to evolve as a player and represent One Knox to the fullest.”
