TAMPA, Fla. – One Knoxville SC fought to the very end on Saturday to earn a point on the road with a 1-1 draw at Greenville Triumph SC. Rewarded for their resiliency, midfielder Teddy Baker, defender Jordan Skelton and goalkeeper Johan Garibay all garnered USL League One Team of the Week honors for Week 24, the league announce on Tuesday.
It marks a team-high fourth selection in 2026 for Baker, while Garibay makes his third appearance and Skelton earns his first.
It was Baker that provided the service into the box for Nico Rosamilia to head home the equalizer in the third minute of second half stoppage time, picking out his teammate’s run from the back post. It was the Englishman’s club-best fifth assist of the current USL1 campaign. For the match, Baker completed 72 of his 85 total passes and posted a 73.7% accuracy on balls played in the final third. He also led Knoxville with five total chances created.
With Baker pulling the strings in the midfield, Skelton was providing support from the backline. The One Knox captain led the way with seven clearances and a 94% completion rate on 117 total passes. He also tied Baker with eight duels and two tackles won.
Right behind the centerback, Garibay kept One Knox in the match with a pair of saves and only misfired on a pair of his 19 total passes.
Week 24 marks the second consecutive week that One Knox has been represented on the Team of the Week.
Week 23 saw defender Will Perkins and forward Eli Conway each grab the honors. Defender Scott McLeod was named for Week 19/20, while Baker and defender Finn McRobb were picked for both Week 17/18 and 16. Forward Kyle Linhares also earned a selection in Week 16.
Forwards Denis Krioutchenkov and Babacar Diene were selected for Week 8/9 with Ian Fuller also named Coach of the Week. Diene, along with Linhares and John Murphy Jr. earned Week 7 honors, Garibay was named in both Week 6 and Week 5, along with forward Braudilio Rodrigues. Defender Jaheim Brown was named in Week 4, as well as the opening week of the 2026 season with Baker, Murphy Jr., Krioutchenkov and Stavros Zarokostas.
One Knoxville SC is set for a pair of matches at Covenant Health Park this week, beginning on Wednesday against Portland Hearts of Pine (tickets) and Saturday against AC Boise for Vols Night (tickets).
