2023 is Head Coach Mark McKeever’s second year with One Knox. As the inaugural coach in ONe Knox history, McKeever has been at the helm since the club’s foundation in 2022.
2022 was One Knox’s lone year in USL League Two where McKeever managed the club to an 13-3-1 record and an appearance in the national quarterfinals.
Originally from Motherwell, Scotland, McKeever joined One Knox on January 13, 2022. Previously, he was the manager of the USL 2 team Des Moines Menace from 2019 to 2022, where he won the 2021 Coach of the Year and won the USL League Two title. Before that, he was the manager of Mississippi Brilla FC from 2015 to 2018.
McKeever was also previously the head coach of the Young Harris College men’s soccer program. In his 18 years with the college, he had a 222-72-18 record.
“Soccer is the pinnacle and the whole being of my life,” McKeever says. “Obviously, when you have children, they become your priority. But soccer has been my life since I’ve been able to walk and breathe.” (per Knox Soccer Podcast).
