Sean Lewis joins One Knoxville SC after spells in the USL Championship with FC Tulsa and Indy Eleven.
The 30 year old Goalkeeper provides plenty of experience to Knoxville after playing over 80 games in the second tier of US Soccer, as well as the US Open Cup, racking up 7,109 minutes in the USL Championship.
We asked Coach McKeever about Sean Lewis. He said, “Sean has the ability to take the USL1 by storm. I don’t know many goalkeepers that I can say are better than Sean throughout the league and I am incredibly excited to have his leadership experience and burning desire to win on our team.”
Lewis has big ambitions for 2023. “My ambition for the 2023 season is to help develop a winning culture within the team, to lay the foundations of not just winning in 2023, but for many years to come.”He continued to say, “I wanted to join One Knox because of all the great things that I have heard about the club, Coach McKeever and his staff, as well as the city itself. I think it is a club with a lot of potential and I believe I can contribute to its success.”
