Our Crest.
On August 19th, 2021, One Knox unveiled it’s crest, created by Matthew Wolff, to a sold-out audience at The Mill & Mine. We were focused on branding the club in a way that connects not just with those who love soccer but connects with those who love Knoxville.
To encapsulate all that is Knoxville into a brand required a best-in-class process. So, we combined two best-in-class designers. For unmatched local knowledge we partnered with Knoxville-based Pedal. For world-renowned soccer design, we teamed up with Matthew Wolff.
Matthew Wolff is widely recognized as one of the leaders in international soccer design.
A college soccer player himself, Matt spent four years with Nike before setting out on his own. Matthew has branded numerous MLS clubs, designed multiple FIFA World Cup uniforms, and lent his creativity to a variety of additional soccer projects.

The One Knox brand had to represent the opinions of our early supporters and Knoxville at large. So, we surveyed over 400 Knoxvillians, held focus groups for over 100 locals, and executed dozens of one-on-one interviews. This created a brand brief that inspired Matthew’s final product.
